Unusual Chinese Hall Bench

An unusual and unique Chinese hall bench. The Chinese hall bench has a beautifully fret cut backrest, with five oriental carved designs to the centre and top. The Chinese hall bench has a solid seat, with a loose red upholstered full length cushion. Raised on spade feet with straight stretcher supports. A rather pleasing hall bench, with delicate carved details throughout.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches and dents throughout, but very minimal. There are signs of shrinkage to the seat (pictured), also fading to the arms (pictured). The Chinese hall bench remains structurally solid and sound. Overall, a fantastic hall bench.
