Victorian 'Good Luck' Brass Candlesticks

1900 - 1920
Description

Circa 1900-1920 a pair of extra tall and well made brass candlesticks in very good condition. On one side of the base of each candlesticks is a horseshoe and the words GOOD LUCK. Although slightly rubbed over the years, the markings are clearly visible.

The candlesticks weigh approximately 0.8kgs each and measure 29.5cm in height, the octogon bases are approximately 11cm x 11.5cm in size.

The candlesticks take 2cm in diameter candles and have been professionally polished but not lacquered.

The 'smudges' in the images is the polished brass reflecting surrounding colour. There are no signs of damage or repair on either candlestick.
