An amazing condition early bookcase cabinet.
This cabinet is completely original and ideal for any period property. Being this moderate size it is ideal for hallways, studies or drawing rooms offering immense storage space considering its small footprint. One feature we like is that this cabinet still has its original working locks with original keys and hand floated flemish glass in the glazed doors.
This simple yet elegant cabinet is in an outstanding condition featuring its original beautiful lightly faded French polished finish with a lovely rich Mahogany colour and original patina. The lovely elegant doors are flanked by the simple vertical cock-beading either side. The cabinet has 3 adjustable Mahogany fronted and scratch moulded shelves to the cabinet top, a removable shelf in the base and is clean inside. We have just carefully cleaned and waxed this cabinet, maintaining its original patina whilst giving a lovely natural sheen.
Please note; This item is in fantastic condition for its age as shown by the photographs below. Being an antique item of this age there are obviously marks, scratches and dents, however, we feel that these points are which adds to its charm and character to a piece. Also note, this piece comes apart into 2 sections for transport.
