The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1900s.
The watch has an English stem-winding movement by Rotherham & Sons which is working nicely. The movement is signed by the original retailer of the watch, Andrew King of 62 Market Place, Hull.
This piece would have been made as a private label piece to be sold under Andrew King’s name.

The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 52mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is a good quality 14ct gold filled case which is in good condition with just light surface marks.

The glass lens is in good condition, just a small mark which is less than 1mm long so not too detrimental at all.
The dial is in lovely condition with pin-set blued steel hands, sunken subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
