Antique Novelty Silver Pin Cushion - Goat And Cart

A lovely example of an Edwardian solid sterling silver novelty pin cushion, this one fashioned as a goat pulling a mother-of-pearl cart.
 
It is hallmarked on the shaft of the cart for Birmingham 1908, with the maker''s mark for Adie & Lovekin Ltd. Both the silver and mother-of-pearl are in excellent condition. The goat is realistically modelled and the cushion is a deep blue velvet.
