Description
An unusual mid 19th Century rosewood piecrust edged Occasional Table, stamped R. Irvin, raised on well-carved & fluted stem ending on tripod legs with acanthus carving to the feet. Further information: Richard Irvin (Irving) Cabinet maker in Lancaster (1818 – 1841). Also employed by Gillow and Company. See “Gillows of Lancaster and London” Susan Stuart page 251/52.
