French Empire Mahogany Bon Heure Du Jour Circa 1810

Description

Fine french FIRST Empire veneered figured mahogany bon heure du jour having fitted writing drawer with ins original brass handles. The upper section with mirror back and supported at front with sphinx head square tapering columns which also support a grey marble top. Sanding on square tapering legs with shaped under-shelf and having carved ebonised paw feet. All in fine un-touched original condition with only a couple of minor veneer repairs. Fine colour with great waxed patina.

Size; 32" wide, 52" high, 16" deep.
