Pinefinders has dated this piece to the 1910s.
Surrounding the writing top is a small upstand - stopping papers from falling from the surface.
The bottom two drawers being deeper than the ones on top.
All the drawers are the full depth of the desk and have nice old brass drop handles.
Below the drawers there is carved shaping and the square legs sit on tulip feet.
Originally painted and recently stripped can be purchased in the bare wood for £600 or wax polished for £697.
