Large scale late C19th opaline glass column lamp with brass corinthian capital and brass base .

The elegant gently tapering opaline glass column surmounted with a well-cast and detailed capital of the corinthian order . The base of the glass shaft mounted with cast laurel-leaf wreath rings onto a stepped brass architectural plinth base fitted with a shallow polished mahogany foot.

The brass with a sympathetic aged patination and colour that has not been over-cleaned or polished.

In excellent original condition, in need of rewiring which can be completed to client’s specification at cost price .
