Clockwise is delighted to present to you a fantastic restored example of a 1900''s authentic and genuine railway clock with provenance to the goods foreman''s main office in Blackwall, London courtesy of L.N.E.R''s own records. The case has GER stamped into the back four times. Great Eastern Railways morphed into L.N.E.R hence the repainted dial which is in excellent condition and complimented by original moon hands. The ten inch diameter oak case has been restored and bears the original ivorine railway plaque as well as the number 4176 to the eight inch dial. The movement has just been stripped and serviced and is a traditional Seth Thomas of Connecticut example of a fine thirty hour piece with GER stamped into the front plate. With the original stabiliser at the bottom of the case finishing off this exciting piece you will do well to find another one like this let alone in as good a condition.
