Description

A very pretty Edwardian gold heart shaped pendant fronted with translucent turquoise guilloche enamel with a central natural split pearl in a gold-edged diamond-shaped mount. The pendant is absolutely typical of the early 1900s, which is confirmed by the inscription on the back reading MAY 14TH 1907. Would make a perfect "something blue" for a bride.

Not hallmarked but the piece has been x-ray tested to confirm it is 15-carat gold.

The pendant is in very good antique condition overall, but there is a small chip in the enamel at the bottom point of the heart, which is reflected in the price.

Size: The heart measures approximately 1.5 x 1.5cm and the total pendant drop is 2cm.

Weight: 2.6g.
