Mytton Antiques - Jerrard Nares has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
Each with a reeded rim, above a concave collar, meeting a pair of Pegasus horses. The campana shaped bodies decorated in relief with hippocamps against a gilt ground. The vases within rising leaf cups, meeting the fern laid foot, sweeping to a spreading leaf rim. The vases raised up on gilt metal mounts, decorated with leopard head feet.
Date circa 1840.
