Burr Walnut Fold-over Games Table C.1930

1920 - 1940
Description

Pretty little Queen Anne style burr walnut fold-over games table c.1930. Stands against the wall as a good looking demi-lune console table or slide out the rear leg (note the little compartment for cards etc) and open the top to make a 30" diameter games table with green baize surface. Highly figured burr walnut veneers laid in a symmetrical pattern with crossbanded edges to the top. Attractive shaped apron, also veneered in burr walnut with carved edge. Raised on slim cabriole legs with carved tops and pad feet. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
