A beautiful Victorian Papier Mache two compartment tea caddy of rectangular form with four rounded feet and a rear hinged cover, painted & inlaid with floral mother of pearl decoration, further highlighted with gilt borderwork around the base. This splendid caddy had both covers for its internal compartments, each with mother of pearl finials; despite some minor surface splits it is in very good overall condition and stands 4 ¼ inches tall.
