The frame of the panel, painted in iron red, and having a continuous gilt whorl motif; further embellished with elaborate floral vine.
The border with a repeated floral scroll, and scroll motif, which laps over a narrow yellow ground border, painted with leaf scroll, divided by iron red and gilt flower heads.
The reverse painted with lingzhi mushrooms in iron red, around a burnt orange, unglazed footrim.
Diameter – 25.6 cm, 10”.
Condition: Very minor wear to the enamel, commensurate with the age of the plate. No restoration.
