Antique Georgian Elm Chest of Drawers

A charming and attractive antique Georgian elm chest of drawers. The antique elm chest has a single elm plank top with a wonderful grain pattern and a moulded edge. The chest has an arrangement of two short drawers above three long graduating drawers, each with brass swan neck handles. The drawers are flanked by decorative reeded quarter pilasters. Raised on bracket feet. Finished with a fresh coat of natural wax.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches and staining to the top surface (pictured). There is evidence of old historic woodworm, however, this is long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. This wonderful antique elm chest of drawers remains structurally sound with the drawers running well. A particularly pleasing chest.
