A late 19thC watercolour of the Cheddar Cliffs, Somerset initialled at bottoms left by the artist C P D and dated 1880. By a competent hand, this is a monochrome watercolour landscape sketch of the Cheddar Cliffs. It is framed and glazed. The front bears a label for the artist - C P Davy (1850-1890) with a date for the work -1880.

Though in the nature of a watercolour sketch, possibly in preparation for a more substantial work, it is well proportioned and effective with a striking image of the cliffs above the village below.
