Gatsby Jewellery Ltd has dated this piece to the 1960s.
Eight round brilliant cut diamonds are claw set to the north and south of the emerald and lead to a slim white gold shank. The base of the shank is slightly squared off which not only looks distinctive and modern, but also stops the ring from spinning.

Cut – Emerald cut emerald. The diamond are round brilliants and baguette cuts.
Colour – The diamonds range from G to H.
Clarity – The diamonds are VS1 to VS2.

Carat – The emerald is approximately 0.45 carat, with a total approximate diamond weight of 0.78 carat.
Size – O 1/2 (UK) or 7.25 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.
Measurements – From the outer edge on one baguette cut diamond to the other is 13.7mm. The ring is 10.9mm at the widest point and sits 6mm from the finger.
Metal – Stamped 750 – indicating 18k white gold – and tests as such.
