Description

A very good quality silver & MOP fruit knife in its original fitted case, lined in blue velvet and cream silk.

The MOP has been beautifully carved on both sides.

The blade is clearly marked for Sheffield 1865 makers mark John Yeomans Cowlishaw.

The silver blade is in good order it opens and shuts well, the blade is firm.

The inside of the box is in extremely good order A B Savoury & Sons, Jewellers & Silversmiths, Opposite The Bank of England, Nos 11& 12 Cornhill, London. The box does close but has a rather “sensitive” opening.
