The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The watch has a fully signed Swiss 15-jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is the gold filled Moon model from the Dennison Watch Case Company. Dennisons was a Birmingham based manufacturer and supplier of cases to various watch makers. The case is in good condition, the odd minor mark but nothing serious. The front cover has a small central lens surrounded by enamel filled Roman numerals.
Inside, there is an acrylic lens which is in good condition.

The signed dial is in very nice condition with blued steel hands, including the special half hunter hour hand so that the time can be read when the front cover is closed.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
