Large 19th Century Old Sheffield Plated Tray by Waterhouse Hatfield

Description

A large 19th century drinks tray made of Old Sheffield Plate. Bearing the mark of Waterhouse Hatfield & Co of Sheffield and dating to c1840. Standing on three stylised ball and claw feet with a fine central crest engraved upon an inlaid silver cartouche.

The condition is good overall with no splits or dents. There is copper bleed to the raised edges and the engraved floral decoration and is a little worn to the edges.

Weight approx 930g.
