Very Rare George III 18th Century Old Sheffield Plated Sugar Pails

Description

This very rare graduated pair of Old Sheffield Plated sugar pails date to the late 18th Century. They are of beautifully pierced design with elegant twist handles and original blue glass liners to the interiors.

In very good condition with only slight signs of copper bleed to the raised edges. The blue glass liners are in good order.

Total weight approx 503g.

Large Pail - height approx 10.5cm. Diameter at rim approx 11cm. Height to top of handle approx 17cm

Small Pail - height approx 7.5cm. Diameter at rim approx 8.5cm. Height to top of handle approx 13cm
