Description

An impressive and very comfortable antique leather wing back armchair. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1920-30’s period.

This has very generous proportions and is of amazing quality. The back is very wide and shapely, it sits on a solid mahogany base with stretchers for extra stability. The leather is brass tacked around the edges, the back is deep buttoned and the buttoned cushion is upholstered on both sides so is reversible.

We have had the leather hand coloured and revived, it has a gorgeous colour and patina. The original seat cushion was perished, so we had a new cushion made in leather and hand coloured to match. The condition is excellent for its age, with only some minor marks and wear consistent with age; there are no rips or tears.
