Description

A Pair of Regency Glass, Bronze and Ormolu Spill Vases.

Each vase a lift out glass vase, the outswept rim above the body with engraved Gothic lancet engraving, to repeat the form of the bronze Gothic lancet holders. The lancets supported by triple cluster columns, with leaf capitals. The columns gathered with an ormolu lancet and pierced scroll collar. The whole standing on a bronze square plinth, finished with spreading stiff leaf decorated.

Date circa 1820.

Height 6 1/2 inches, 17cm.
