A Pair of French Gilt and Painted Wall Console Tables

Two beautifully carved and decorated little console tables, the gesso decoration is in Green and Gold as was the fashion in the mid 19th Century

They have a serpentine shape, a drawer to the front and a carved leg which rests on the wall when the consoles are mounted so they can be set at your chosen height

The shelves are in good attractive condition there is a little distressing to the finish but no more than would be expected on pieces of this age, the tables are 21” wide and 12” deep, it is 24 from bottom to top
