Marylebone Antiques has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
The drawers have turned mahogany handles and fine hand cut dovetailed joints. The back of this is also nicely polished, so can be used as a free standing item.
The inset leather top is hand coloured and gold tooled, with a gorgeous patina. We have recently had this re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age with various signs of old wear and patina beneath the polish.
