Description

An extremely good quality French Napoleon III boulle engraved brass and red tortoise shell inlaid free standing serpentine shaped writing table or centre table in the Louis XV style. The table has an intricate scrolling leaf design throughout with ebonised detail and decorative bronze gilt moulds of foliate design and female figure mounts to the cabriole legs. There is a single drawer to the frieze which features its original working lock which comes with a key.
