Antique English Silver Plated Five Egg Cruet with Spoons C.1890

Description

A very handsome and highly decorative egg cruet with five egg cups, all engraved creating a most decorative example. The base is an absolute riot of decoration enhancing the wonderful scalloped shape of the base.

The cruet comes complete with five silver plated egg spoons, which fit into the central terminal on the base creating a grand and showy cruet.

The underside is marked ENPS for Electro-Nickel Plated Silver and the makers initials H C & Co. for HAMMOND, CREAKE & CO. of Sheffield.

Excellent condition with a base diameter measuring 8" and standing 8 1/2" to top of carrying handle.
