Description

A beautiful and useful antique mahogany bow front cabinet on legs. This was made in England, it dates from around 1900-1920.

The quality is amazing, it is a great size with lots of storage space. There are three generous drawers and a locking cabinet on either side. The drawers have lovely brass tear drop handles and are solid oak lined, with fine, hand cut dovetailed joints. The top edge has a carved gadrooned edge, and there is also lovely beaded carving around the drawer fronts, door fronts and down the front of the legs. The legs are nicely tapered and terminate in spade feet.

The mahogany has a gorgeous, rich colour tone and beautiful grain patterns. We have just had this re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age.
