A delightful vintage silver and enamel butterfly brooch. Excellent detailed craftmanship. The wings are beautifully enamelled and the colour is superb; a vibrant green with a beautifully contrasting yellow body. Marked on the back Sterling silver and the silver maker''s mark John Aitken & Sons working during the period 1903-1918. There is a good fastening clasp at the back.
A perfect gift, made by a collectable designer and in lovely condition. Would be a great addition for a collector of butterfly brooches.
