Lincoln Restorations has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
Featuring a heavy finely cast brass pan with a high copper content to the brass alloy.

These professional grade pans were used for the purpose of making a large amount of fresh jam and preserves. The brass is ideal as it conducts heat quickly and evenly with no hot spots on the bottom of the pan, allowing for greater control. The pans heat up faster, then cool down faster when taken from the heat.

Ideal for display, this pan looks amazing with its beautiful highly polished brass finish suitable and ready for any home or even restaurant/bar. We have restored this item by highly polishing the copper and brass, the pan could still be used today for its original purpose with adequate sanitisation.

Please note this item is in very good condition for its age but will have the odd blemish here and there, as expected with an item of this age. However, we feel that these points are which adds to the charm of the item with it being an antique.
