Description

These TWO ANTIQUE STAFFORDSHIRE HENS ON NESTS date from circa 1880.

They were probably made at the same Pottery as they are decorated in the same palette - their feathered tails bear a striking similarity.

Both HENS are in good condition with no restoration. There is a small chip to the underside of the smaller chicken's beak which is not seen from above.

They display beautifully.
