A Late Victorian Miniature Silver Cased Spice Bottle

A delightful and sought after silver mounted miniature spice bottle & spoon. This unusual piece is of rounded form. The glass bottle is octagonal with panel cutting and a flared neck. The silver spoon has a ball finial and is fully hallmarked. The bottle would have been for spices such as cayenne pepper and sits in a pierced fretwork silver holder, with a side handle and matching hallmarks A lovely collector's piece. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent, with no chips or cracks to the glass and no dents or breaks to the spoon, lid or collar.

Hallmarks :- Clear and readable. Spoon has matching hallmarks.
