1930s Limit No 2 Pocket Watch

Description

1930s Limit No 2 pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Limit name. Limit were importers of watches into the UK, and they were based in Oldham in Lancashire, UK.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated, and it is the Star model from the Birmingham based watch case maker Dennison. Dennisons supplied gold plated and silver cases for Limit watches. Overall the case is in good condition with just small marks around the side, and a small indentation to the back of the watch.

The watch glass is in lovely condition, as is the signed dial.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
