The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1930s.
The watch has a Swiss 15-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely.
The watch measures 27mm wide excluding the winding crown and 28mm high excluding the lugs. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the hinged case back for Glasgow 1930 together with a sponsor’s mark for Sylvain Dreyfuss who, from the 1920s, began importing Rotary watches into Britain.
The case would originally have had enamel detailing around the bezel but only traces now remain.
The convex has a little chip in one of the corners and some marking but not too detrimental at all.
The dial is in its original finish… again, some age related marking but very acceptable.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
