A Superb Silver & Tortoiseshell Lidded Powder Bowl

A superb silver and tortoiseshell lidded powder bowl. This unusual and delightful piece is of rounded form with a hallmarked silver lid, set with tortoiseshell and pique work. The lovely jar is beautifully cut with large strawberry diamonds and to the base is a multi point cut star. A quality and practical piece of dressing table ware, with a variety of uses.
