A Georgian Hooded Wall Clock

18th century
Description

A Georgian Regency period hooded wall clock. A good quality mahogany case with an arched top to the pediment. Satinwood line inlays to the arch mouldings. A small 7 1/2" arched painted dial and central alarm disc. Blued steel hands and floral & fruit decorations to the arch and corners. A 7 day duration mechanism with anchor escapement and the original weight. A smaller weight for the alarm mechanism. Circa 1820.

Height 31 " / 79 cms Width 13 " / 33 cms Depth 8 " / 20 cms.
