Large Victorian Carved Oak Bookcase

A large late Victorian carved oak bookcase. The breakfront bookcase has a moulded edge to the top and three sections below. Each section has two adjustable height shelves. The bookcase has decorative carved detail throughout. Please note, this item is all one piece and does not separate for transport - please double check the measurements before making a purchase.

Height – 123cm / Width – 199cm / Depth – 42cm

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks and scratches to the top surface, sides and to the shelves. The bookcase remains structurally sound. Small loss to the back right hand corner (pictured) and some very minor evidence of old historic woodworm to the back - this is long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. Finished with a fresh coat of natural wax.

Our carpenter inspects, repairs, and restores our items, so you can have full confidence that what you buy from us is ready for your home!

In case of return, items must be received back in the same condition as delivered and a collection fee of £85 will apply, this would be deducted from any refund amount.
