Fabulous opportunity to acquire this wonderful gents manual wrist watch dating to 1947 and made by the US watch company Bulova. This particular model was named 'His Excellency' and is a little rarer in design because of the black dial, the casing is 10k white gold filled and is in super condition, bright and crisp. The back of the watch is clear from any engravings and is stainless steel. Diameter of case not including crown: app. 21mm x 38mm. The original rich dial is exceptionally clean and looks very impressive for it's age. The baton markers applied deco numerals and hands are in extra bright gold. Powered by Bulova 7AK 21Jewels movement, signed "Bulova Watch Co USA 21Jewels 7AK. Inside 10K Gold filled, signed: "Bulova Fifth Ave New York Bulova 10K Gold Filled . Sub dial with seconds hand to the base, original crystal which is without heavy scratching and again very good condition for it's age. 21Jewels movement which has been fully serviced and runs well keeping good time. A really handsome looking watch that comes complete with a new unworn leather strap in mid tone tan colour.

Strap: 16mm wide, tapering to 14mm at the buckle.

Wrist fitting: The watch should fit a wrist size of between 160mm and 190mm.This watch is perfect both for everyday wear and for adding to the collections. A lovely watch any gentleman would love to wear. Shows no wear-through to the gold.
