Antique English pewter triple reeded charger of 23.75 inch diameter, by Henry Wiggin of London, England, who worked 1679-1694. The front rim bears a full set of clear hall marks along with a Marriage triad of ''S OVER WM'' . The reverse rim has a partial touchmark and a ''rose and crown'' mark.
This is a large and very well made charger with a cast reeded rim.
Condition:
The charger is in excellent condition with a lightly polished finish to the front, there are some knife marks to the front showing signs of use. The reverse is unpolished but has been cleaned leaving a few traces of oxide.
Repairs: There are no repairs that could be detected.
