Hobson May Collection has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
These antique Staffordshire plates are in excellent condition and the colour is a good mid blue, this is accurately shown in the photographs. Both plates have faint imprest marks 'Wedgwood' and the letter 'H' painted in underglaze blue. A lovely pair of early 19th Century plates to add to a collection or display on a table or dresser.
