A Stunning Edwardian Silver Cased 'Lavender Salts' Bottle

A stunning silver cased salts bottle. The case is hinged, with a flip top lid. It is decorated in repousse work and has a vacant cartouche to both the front and back. The fully gilded interior contains the original green glass bottle, with peg stopper. This would have contained lavender salts (which had many restorative properties) and was retailed by the Crown Perfumery, London. A desirable and attractive collector's item. Dimensions below.
