This is a set of 8 antique dining chairs. An English, oak carver and seat with leather cushions, dating to the Edwardian period, circa 1910.

Graced with delightful oak stocks and of appealing comfort

Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order

Warm caramel hues to the select oak beneath a wax polish finish

Further distinguished with fine grain interest and medullary rays

Two dashing carvers accompany a suite of six chairs

Comfortably padded leather cushions, adorned with press stud trim

Distinctive bowed, sash-shape upper rail, and a pair of square section lower lumbar rails

Each support stile topped with a small turned finial

Graceful arms for the carver sit upon turned supports

Front legs accentuated with turned cup and carved block detail

Gently tapered rear legs united to the fore with alternated stretcher rails
