a large late 17th century turned bulbous baluster leg single gateleg table of good patination and colour ,with some slight restorations to the top due to wear and usage over these past centuries,which further adds to its naive charm .provenance.silver engraved plate fixed to the top which reads.THIS TABLE AND A CHESTERFIELD SETTEE WERE PRESENTED TO MRS LITTLE, AND A PURSE OF GOLD TO THE REVEREND CHARLES EDWARD LITTLE VICAR AND RURAL DEAN OF HORNSEA BY SOME OF THE PARISHIONERS TO MARK THE ESTEEM AND AFFECTION IN WHICH THEY WERE HELD DURING THERE 16YEARS RESIDENCE.24TH MARCH 1915.
