Advertising Stationary Rack

Description

A late Victorian /early 20th Century stained pine advertising stationary rack for the local shops of Bournemouth made by Warne Pugsley & Warne, advertising contractors, Bristol.

The rack would have contained leaflets with info on the various shops and would have been displayed at the train station, hotels or the town hall.

A great piece of social history.

It includes a dealer in genuine antiques Mr Arthur Johnson, a footwear specialist, an optician, a gallery specialising in portraiture etc…

Apart from a light clean and polish the rack is in great original condition.
