Pair Antique English 12 Lens Binoculars C.1915

Description

A rare pair of antique binoculars, I have never come across a pair before labelled "12 Lens / Best Quality". Each of the eyepieces has a little leaver to the side which when switched alters the lens inside.

This stunning pair of binoculars or field glasses date to around 1915. Made from polished brass, they have been meticulously re-polished to gleam, which looks stunning paired with the embossed polished leather.

They focus wonderfully and and the eye pieces having eye shields that swivel across to the outside when in use and swivel back when not in use.

They remain in superb working order measuring 5" wide x 2 1/2" deep x 5 1/2" while closed extending to 9" when everything is fully open.
