Description

Good sized Gothic Revival oak coffer c.1880. Could be used as a hall seat with storage. Flat (rather than panelled top) with a moulded edge opens to reveal useful storage inside. Superb decorative front featuring five panels with crisp blind tracery carving between Gothic architectural pilasters. Double linenfold panels to the sides. Deep moulded plinth with shaped bottom edge. Old woodworm holes to the backboards, other wise very good colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
