Pair of Danish Art Deco Period Armchairs

1920 - 1940
Description

A beautiful and impressive pair of Danish Art Deco period armchairs. They were recently imported from Denmark, and date from the 1930’s.

The quality is outstanding, they are extremely comfortable with very generous proportions. The carved oak frames have a stylish design with lovely carving on the front corners. They sit on small platform feet and have wide, scalloped backs.

We have had the frames stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, they have a beautiful colour and stunning grain patterns. We have also just had these re-upholstered in our cream cotton fabric, the overall condition is excellent.

Depth – 34 inches , 86 cm

Height – 30 inches , 76 cm

Seat height – 14 inches , 36 cm
