A Rare Channel Islands Silver Table Spoon

A sought after Channel Islands silver table spoon. This lovely example is in Old English shape with delicate Bright Cut engraving to the front of the shaft. There is a vacant cartouche to the top front and a typical Channel Islands double strap to the heel. A good collector's item, still usable today.Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent, with no dents or splits. The bowl tip is excellent. The Bright cut engraving is soft in parts, commensurate with age and use.

Date :- Jersey c1800.

Maker :- Jaques Quesnel I or II.
