Description

This is a good ironstone ( stone china) large platter, made by Mason's Ironstone circa 1820.
The platter is hand painted, in Mason's "India Grasshopper" pattern, with enamels of different colors and shades, over a blue printed outline.
This was one of Mason's earliest designs and is fully documented in Mason's pattern book, published by The Mason's Collectors Club.
The base is unmarked but this piece is definitely by Mason's Patent Ironstone China factory, made between 1815 and 1825.
Condition: Good
Wear consistent with age and use. NO Chips, NO Cracks, NO Restoration.
